If you need to be tightened up, gain more strength and flexibility as well as a better posture and better balance, then Reformer training is just the thing for you. If you want to achieve weight loss, the Reformer can also help you with that.

The Reformer consists of a sliding carriage, springs, straps and a crutch. The resistance is a combination of your own body weight and the Reformer's springs, so you can adjust the load yourself. This results in a dynamic and effective workout where you will be challenged on your strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and concentration. You will quickly find that you get long, lean and strong muscles. Our instructors guide you safely through each class.

What is Reformer/Reformer Pilates training?

Reformer training, also known as reformer pilates, is a combination of strength, balance and flexibility. You train in your own Reformer machine, and are always guided by a trained instructor. In a Reformer pilates class, both Superman and grandma can join, as the instructor can adjust the intensity using the 5 resistance springs on the Reformer. Each class lasts 50 minutes, and consists of warming up, training the whole body and always ends with a nice stretch. In energii, you must always wear ToxSox and training gloves, as this helps to ensure that your training will be both safe and hygienic. You can always take bring your own, and you can also buy Toe Sox, gloves, water etc. at our reception.

Reforms in several versions

Are you brand new? You can start your training at all our Reformer teams.

Our skilled instructors welcome you, and you will get a short introduction to the Reformer before the class starts. It is a good idea to arrive 10 minutes early.

Reformer

Tempo, exercises and intensity vary from time to time. Our skilled instructors always read all participants in the team, in order to take into account or push where necessary.


If there are exercises you cannot do, we are always ready with alternative exercises for you. The musical style is varied according to the director in question.


All lessons last 50 minutes.

Family Reforms

Here you can train together with your child for 50 effective minutes, while having fun and working up a sweat. "Junior" must be 12 years old and have prior knowledge of training. Otherwise, we always recommend a private lesson, where the various techniques will be thoroughly explained, so that your child can easily follow along and feel safe throughout the training.


You are always welcome in the class, even if you do not have children with you or usually participate in the team


Your child must use a special Junior clip card.

Gentle Reformer

Do you feel that your joints are stiff? How is your balance? Have you had knee, hip, shoulder or breast surgery?

Then Skånsom Reformer training is something for you, and it is for both men and women

 

We train the whole body every time: back, arms, thighs, ankles and knees as well as abdominal muscles.

 

We work with preventive exercises for shoulders, neck, back, stomach, etc.

What should I remember?

We always train with gloves and in Toe Sox on all classes in the reformer. Toe Sox are specially made socks that have anti-slip pads under the foot and at each toe. They prevent you from slipping when you do the exercises and move around on the Reformer. The gloves also ensure that you get a better and safer grip during your training.


Toe Sox, gloves and water can be bought in all our centres.
